Move Well - Team Speed and Strength Enhancement
The team speed and strength enhance program offers the same comprehensive approach and industry leading practices as the team fitness program with focus on collecting, tracking, and analyzing performance metrics to drive optimal adaptation and recovery in an effort to maximize performance.

The team speed and strength enhancement program is fully customized for each team. From the schedule to the duration, to each movement performed. Representative(s) from the team will meet with the trainer for a discovery interview where the trainer will ask questions designed to help build a program that meets the needs and goals of the team.
PROGRAM FEATURES
Fun
Fitness is most effective when you are eager to engage with it. For kids that means making it fun. At Move Well we allow kids to be kids and focus much of the fitness through an age-appropriate play-based lens.
Professional
Youth fitness at the Training Acre is all backed by established scientific principles, constant evaluation and adoption of emerging data, research, practices, and policies of leading youth trainers from around the world, and practical experience from over a decade of dedicated youth fitness training.
Educational
We will not simply teach the kids how to perform exercises properly and give them reps, sets, and load schemes that they will perform with little to no understanding of why. We will teach the mechanics, biology, physics, psychology, and nutrition behind what they are doing, in easy to understand, age appropriate, repetitive mini lessons. There is always a teaching moment in the gym.
Guidance-Supervision-Accountability
The more structured and repetitive a fitness program is the more important it is that the athletes get proper guidance (teaching proper form and technique), supervision (constant uninterrupted evaluation), and accountability (correction of faults and affirmation of success) by a dedicated experienced professional.
Increased Capacity
All athletes that train in our program will improve their overall capacity across eleven clearly defined elements.
• Cardiovascular endurance
• Stamina
• Strength
• Flexibility
• Power
• Speed
• Coordination
• Agility
• Balance
• Accuracy
• Mental toughness
Personalization
While these are group sessions, we understand that each athlete is unique. We are all shaped differently, move differently, think and understand differently. Every effort will be made to identify those differences and customize the experience of each athlete to reflect those differences and provide the most benefit for their time and effort, while maintaining a team atmosphere.
Industry Leading Practices
At Move Well we practice industry leading training principles backed by extensive research and successful implementation by coaches at every level of sport and fitness.
• Dynamic and Unilateral Training – instead of one size fits all programs we address specific needs, asymmetries, and injury prevention with a heavy emphasis on unilateral and dynamic movement.
• Recovery as a Primary Metric – We view sleep, nutrition and other recovery essentials such as active rest and stress management as essential to performance and longevity.
• Fundamental Movement Focus – Training based on core movement patterns, alongside fundamental athletic principles such as core-to-extremity movement, full range of motion, and midline stabilization.
• Long-Term Athletic Development – Training focused on development of the athletes over years rather than just immediate short-term performance gains.
• Technology and Data Assistance – Using velocity trackers, timing gates, and data analysis software to manage speed, force production training intensity and fatigue to ensure athletes are at the intended intensity regardless of daily fluctuations.
